FatCow domain name registration

You can register domain names through FatCow to take advantage of its Automated Domain Renewal Service, Domain Privacy and other features. But, before you register domain names with fatcow, I strongly suggest you to compare the price with other main domain registrars. Currently I check the price of fatcow domain registration, a .com domain is $20/year. If you want to register a domain with fatcow, you can follow the steps below:
1. Log into your fatcow account.
2. Go to Domain Central.
3. In the Reserve a New Domain Name box, enter the domain name you want to register, and then click Check Domain Name. The status of the name you entered displays to show the ones available.
4. Select the domain name(s) you want to register.
5. Select the period for the registration.
6. Check the Domain Privacy box to add it to the domain.
7. Select Add to existing account, since you are already logged in, or select Create new account if you wish to add this domain to a new account.
8. Click Contiue.
9. Enter your payment information, and click Continue.
The Domain Name page displays the status of your new domain name. FatCow will send a receipt for your domain registration and Domain Privacy, if you purchased it, to your administrative e-mail address.
Note: Activation of new domains takes 24 to 72 hours.

Web hosting is a service which allocates space for customers to showcase their websites on computer servers that are connected to the Internet 24/7.
Servers are powerful computers that have extremely large hard drives, or an array of hard drives. Space is then rented to those who want a “website presence” on the Internet.
Every server on the Internet has a unique numerical IP (Internet Protocol) address. You can think of servers as apartment buildings with unique addresses. Each apartment unit within each building is equivocal to space rented out for individual websites. And like real apartment buildings, each unit also has an address based on “the building” in which it is located.
