HostPapa offer every one of their customers a free domain name for life service. But you need to be carefull of the condition on this domain.  Note: This is only available for the primary domain name on each account. Each account’s primary domain name is the domain that is used when signing up for HostPapa web hosting package. This primary domain name continues to remain free for as long as you host your site with HostPapa.

HostPapa can register a new domain name for you free of charge, or if you have an existing domain name, you can transfer it over to HostPapa. Either way, HostPapa will continue to renew that primary domain name for you each year at no cost to you. Note: the domain name that you registered with or transfered to HostPapa should be your primary domain name to be eligible for free.

The domain names will be registered in your name, so that if for any reason you would like to leave HostPapa services, you will be able to take that domain name with you. HostPapa registers your domain in your name, but with HostPapa’s contact information so that your privacy is protected. If you would like to use your own contact information instead, you can contact HostPapa and they will do so upon your request.

All of HostPapa clients’ domain names are registered with ICANN certified registrars to ensure that your intellectual property is secure.

Please note that the free domain name applies only to the primary domain name listed on your account and primary domain names cannot be changed.

    Hostpapa say you own the domain, but will try to charge you $24.95 + Tax to transfer it away
