How do I add a user to my justhost cPanel account?
Only one primary login can be issued per cPanel account, so it is not currently possible to add a new user.

What is an SSL Certificate?
An SSL Certificate is a digital certificate verifying your identity. Without an SSL certificate your visitors will get a warning message in their web browser. Every JustHost plan includes a shared SSL Certificate. A private SSL Certificate can also be purchased for your site from JustHost, please contact justhost support team on: support@justhost.com for further details.

Do you need a static IP address for self-signed SSL certificates?
You do need to have a Static IP if you are using your own SSL Certificate. To use an SSL your host will provide you with a CSR file which you need to submit to an SSL Certificate provider. They will then in turn provide you with the CRT that you can install on your required domain eg. http://secure.yourdomain.com. Its always advisable to install the certificate on the subdomain.

Does JustHost offer SSL Certificates?
A shared SSL Certificate is provided with every Just Host account. Private SSL Certificates are available to purchase from Just Host through your cPanel account at any time.
Please click on Private SSL in the Optional Account Addons section and select ‘Add Extra’ from the upgrade list. A Private SSL costs $69.95 per year.

Is file sharing allowed with Just Host?
Just Host doesn’t normally allow file sharing websites, because justhost is  not in the business of hosting and serving files. It really depends on the type of files you’re wanting to add to your account and how much strain they will put on justhost servers. You may want to review justhost Terms & Conditions in regards to the type of content you are allowed to host on its servers. Please contact justhost on support@justhost.com if you have any further questions about file sharing.

Does Just Host offer a backup service?
You can add Daily Backup to your account at any time through your cPanel account. Simply click on Daily Backup in the Optional Account Addons section and then click ‘Add Extra’ from the upgrade list. Daily Backup cost $24.95 per year.

Can I add my own CGI scripts?
Just Host LINUX web servers have the capability to run CGI scripts in your own ‘cgi-bin’ directory. Scripts may be written in Perl and CGI languages. Here are some helpful tips to follow when installing scripts:

- Upload to your cgi-bin directory to ensure proper file permission settings.
- All scripts on justhost server must have permissions set to 755 (rwx-rx-rx).

If you need help in changing script permissions, please see the following:
- Upload in ASCII transfer mode (and NOT BINARY mode)
- The first line of each script must read: #!/usr/bin/perl
- Ensure the permissions are set to 755
