(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – Cloud storage data protection provider TwinStrata (www.twinstrata.com) recently announced it has launched CloudArray Version 2.0 software, available in both virtual and physical appliance configurations. 

In November, TwinStrata integrated Scality’s RING storage platform into its CloudArray solution. 

The software is designed to be easy for companies of all sizes to adopt, and is scalable with its pay-as-you-go model, unlimited capacity, local performance, in-cloud snapshots, and on-site, off-site or in-the-cloud access to data. 

CloudArray Version 2.0 has updates designed to further enhance the overall operation, reliability, and performance. 

Users can integrate CloudArray Version 2.0 into Mezeo, Peer1 and Scalitity storage platforms.

TwinStrata says other enhancements include support for HA clustering, Solaris interoperability, alert and portal improvements and performance improvements to the virtual appliance.
