(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) –- Hosting and SaaS solutions provider DiscountASP.NET (www.discountasp.net) reported on Thursday that it is extending its hosted Team Foundation Server SaaS offering to Europe, delivered from a data center based in the UK.

Team Foundation Server 2010 is part of Microsoft’s Visual Studio, the collaboration platform that is central to the software company’s application lifecycle management solution. Using DiscountASP.NET’s hosted TFS solution, developers use Visual Studio development tools to manage source control and track bugs, either alone or with a team.

DiscountASP.NET first launched its TFS server SaaS product in October of 2010.

“We saw a demand for TFS hosting from European developers. So we are very excited to expand our hosted TFS service into Europe and provide a source control solution that is closer to them.” said Takeshi Eto, VP of marketing and business development at DiscountASP.NET, quoted in the company’s press release. “For a seamless experience, customers can select the data center location where they desire to host their source code as part of our online TFS hosting ordering process.”

DiscountASP.NET says TFS Basic Hosting starts at $20 per user per month. The intro account comes with one collection, which can support unlimited projects. The company is offering a free trial.
