How to cancel your DreamHost web hosting account?

If you are not satisfied with DreamHost web hosting services, you need to cancel your account. But, sometimes people don’t read or miss understand the cancellation policy.
1. Your dreamhost account doesn’t expire at the end of the contract term.
Many dreamhost customers think that their web hosting account will expire if they don’t renew it. They are wrong! Your contract will automatically renew for successive initial period indefinitely until canceled in writing or via the dreamhost web panel. In the Termination section of TOS, you can find following information,"This contract may be terminated by either party, without cause, by giving the other party 14 days written notice."
Interesting? Don’t tell dreamhost that you are going to cancel your account on the last day of the 97 days. Send notice to them 14 days before the end of 97 day money back guarantee.
